City Slicker 04:40
I stand in line with random families So I don't feel alone, But begging for handouts doesn't Feed or pay the loans... The subway drift will keep me warm, A single worn out shoe that seems forlorn... You saw me sleeping, you could have sworn, By myself, turning electric blue storms... Old gum and cigarettes stick to the pavement, My best friends tell me where my life went... If you were me, you would understand - I am the hustle that sweeps you to your door... ... You aren't allowed here without a number... It's in the thousands, but I can't remember...

about

After previously recording the original version of "City Slicker" (on our debut album "Bombs Away!) on tape/analog, we decided to re-record this particular tune (one of our favorites) with digital technology, in hopes that it would give the song justice, sonically.
We tracked "City Slicker" on March 4, 2015 in the studios at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA.
